Starting September 2023, I have led the Rye High School Chemistry Club to launch outreach programs at Don Bosco Community Center in Port Chester, NY. Our mission is to spark a passion for science within K-5 children. At Don Bosco, we engaged the kids with hands-on activities like embossing cards to explore polymers, making slime to witness polymerization, building circuits to understand electricity, and making paper to demonstrate hydrogen bonding. Seeing the excitement on their faces and witnessing those 'aha' moments is incredibly rewarding for both me and my fellow club members.

I also led our Chemistry Club in launching our first ever Chemistry Day Science Fair! We collaborated with the Rye Library, where we held the event. More than 100 participants from Rye and surrounding communities attended, participating in science experiments and activities.
In October 2023, the Chemistry Club hosted a table at the New York Hall of Science during National Chemistry Week to educate students about the importance of iron. We used magnets to show the properties of iron and where iron can be found in the foods we eat.
Through Schoolhouse, a platform connecting students for peer-to-peer tutoring, I host courses on subjects such as SAT prep, Calculus, and Physics. To date, I have taught over 45 students from 13 countries, accumulating 2,100+ tutoring minutes and 2,000+ preparation minutes. I am happy to see that students enjoy my lessons, and grateful for the positive feedback I have received. I plan to continue tutoring throughout high school and into college.
